After Plus Two, there are many options to choose from at the Bachelor’s level. T

he students have numerous choices, ranging from pure science, medical, engineering, paramedics, humanities, management and hospitality, among other. The students can also pursue foreign degrees within the country.
Nepal universities are introducing various new programmers with wider scopes.  They are also partnering with introducing universities to exchange modern technolo-gies and pedagogy.
Experts say the courses the domestic universities are offering are excellent. The only problem is the lock of practical support and the use of technology with changing times. According to Bishnu Karki, an expert, education has become competitive, so the quality offered by private sector colleges is becoming better by the day.
Currently around 100 constituent and some 12000 affiliated colleges under nine universities are providing bachelor’s education. According to the University Grants Commission, the government authority that oversees university education, over 80 percent of the university students is enrolled at the Bachelors level. Out of the total 480,891 students studying at the university level,394,863 are at the Bachelors level alone.
Karki said while selecting courses, students need to understand that Plus Two is a school-level programmed that is vastly different from university-level programmes. The Bachelor Level is the entry point for university education and it marks the end of teenage ears for most of the students, who will soon be considered and treated like audits. University prioritises research-oriented education and during classes, the students. The teachers are mostly guides and the students need to use the guidance to delve deeper into the sunjects of choice, largely on their own.
Most people tend to end their educational journey after they complete their bachelors, because for many of them the degree is enough land a job.
